The Steel-Wood Bridge (SWB) program is an automated engineering tool for analyzing one- and two-lane steel girder bridges with wood decks using both standard and parametric steel section shapes. It includes libraries of standard metric and imperial material properties, with options to create customized materials.
The software supports analysis with standard CL-625 and CL-625-ONT trucks for road classes A, B, and C, and also allows for custom truck configurations. Element dimensions, such as transverse beam spacing and timber sizes, default to common values but can be easily edited as needed, with customizable default settings.
