Contour Loads
The General Structural Engineering (GSE) Software – Slab Engineering allows to use the new contour load functionality in your projects.
This new feature allows users to quickly define various types of loads on all the plate elements present in the selected perimeters.
In addition to increasing visibility of the loads in your models, this new functionality of loads on contour remains present in your model when modifications are made to the finite element mesh.
Load on plates and load on contour showing equivalent result.
Available loads are:
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â concentrated loads
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â uniform pressures
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â variable pressures
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â thermal gradient loads
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â concentrated loads
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â uniform pressures
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â variable pressures
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â thermal gradient loads
All previous models made using plate loads will remain compatible with this new version.
