Explore advanced modeling features, including:
• Special sections: variable inertia, custom sections, bars, and trusses
• Springs: mat foundation springs, unidirectional and nonlinear springs
• Imposed displacements and inclined supports
• Element eccentricity
• Deflections
• Wind loads on members and wind profiles
• Thermal loads
• Calculation of the center of gravity of loads
• Advanced geometry generation functions, including the Recalculate command
• Exercises: examples will be presented throughout the explanation of advanced modeling functions.
